Scavenging from a ghost !

On healthline.com, albinism is defined as a rare group of genetic disorders that cause the skin, hair, or eyes to have little or no color.
In parts of Africa giving birth to a child with little or no skin colour is as good as a death sentence for the little one: for here 'Albinos are called Ghosts'.

People look on them with a mix of abhorance and dread. They are considered bad luck to the community yet ironically body parts of an albino are considered 'magical'. So they are hunted down and hacked up for these magical properties that parts of their body impart to brews and potions cooked up by the 'witch doctor'.

Came across this amazing documentary done by Al Jazeera on the perils the albinos in Tanzania face on a daily basis.
" If this be what the skies see, then let it weep, let it weep."

God Is A Gamer by Ravi Subramanium

God is a Gamer
by
Ravi Subramanium

The Blurb
Aditya runs a gaming company that is struggling to break even. A banker slips off a highrise building, plunging to her death. The finance minister has made some promises that he is finding hard to keep. The LTTE has unleashed terror in America that sends the FBI on a wild goose chase, bringing them to Mumbai.

Enter Varun, parttime drug dealer and fulltime genius. He turns around the gaming company before disaster strikes. Meanwhile, the investigators plunge headlong into

the shady world of bitcoins and the Dark Net, websites that only exist for illegal transactions—drugs, sex and money. God Is a Gamer culminates in a stunning climax where money means nothing, assassination is taught by the ancient Greeks, and nothing is as it seems.
